Hi, i am using sharpoint On-Premises 2019.I sent a document to user through workflow. User want's to open the document in client application. When user trying to open the the document it's automatically downloading. Could you please help me. It's more help full.

I believe, the document is stored in the Sharepoint document library then share the link of the document to the user via workflow/email and update the document library setting => Advanced Settings =>"Opening Documents in the Browser" option to "Open in the browser" instead of default option - Client Application.
