Display data on grid view based on drop down list

I have errors after trying getting the info from online but i deleted the codes as they do not work. The dropdown list data comes from a table in databse. So on selection of a course name the gridview should display all records that contain the course name same as the selected value in the drop down list.

I am not using the data table, I just connected the gridview to sql data source.

Hi,

how it is possible no error show your question. Plesae check table and select query, because if any error mention you have then i find out what is missing. so no idea without seen project and related pages.

Thank you, but it doesnt work for me. I have already connected the gridview to databse using sql data source control in visual studio. The grid view mut display the records based on my drop down list.
