Disable Visual Studio 2017 auto-correct

Tools -> Options -> Text Editor -> C# -> Intellisense

Its still there, in Miscellaneous, its just not visible ... if you look for it in the textbox the only relevant tab that pops is the "Miscellaneous". So I'm guessing is a fuck-up on M$'s side.

there's no "miscellaneous" option in HTML, it is on HTML (web forms), but it doesn't have "Auto ID elements on paste in Source View" either

try this

Tools->Options->Text Editor->HTML->Miscellaneous

and un check the first check box, "Auto ID elements on paste in Source View"

If it doesn't work, you can try around the related options .
