What is Dependency injection ? can anybody explain me with simple sample code

hey there !

Dependency means - lets say one class is their that depends upon other classes. In a more precise way - your model class depends upon database right ?? As you had seen in mvc framework, To work with database you need a model class. So you can say that model is dependent on database, to fetch the data.
whereas the injecting database, is something like you are pushing the data into the model class from outside.

Before Understanding Dependency Injection i will suggest you to learn IOC(inversion of control) which will help you to learn dependency injection very easily and dependency injection is one of the techniques to implement inversion of control .
Dependency injection is nothing but it helps to inject dependent objects in to your classes thus making your architecture more loosely coupled
