datagridview column values

i have a form with datagridview. it has two columns named particulars and Rs. How we insert the first column values("book fee", "admission fee","monthly fee") when the page is loaded ?

Something like this should work:

   private void Form1_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
   {
   string[] fees = {"book fee", "admission fee","monthly fee"};
   dataGridView1.Rows.Add(3);
   for (int i = 0; i < 3; i++)
   {
   dataGridView1.Rows[i].Cells["particulars"].Value = fees[i];
   }
   }
