DataGrid keypress

Hi! I try use event dataGrid1_KeyPress. Whan I run mu program I see that event dataGrid1_KeyPress is no active on place where I have data. I don't know why. So If You can help me, send me answer.

I haven't message. I write: private void dataGrid1_KeyPress(object sender, System.Windows.Forms.KeyPressEventArgs e) {if(((int)e.KeyChar).Equals((int)Keys.Back)) MessageBox.Show("Backspace clicked"); } Now, I run my program and when I clicked backspace on place where are date I have't message "Backspace clicked", but when I clicked on abroad date I have this message
