If you are using MySql...Run this query on your database..

SET GLOBAL event_scheduler = ON;

This will add a new tab called events.

Go to events , add new event and set following fields like this

Event Type :Recurring

Execute Every: 1 > Month

Set the start and end date

Defintion : Truncate table_name

you can either schedule a SQL job to achieve this task or do it manually at the end of each month.
