Create component.js and component .js.map file in angular 2

Hello

 

component.js file and .js.map files are called SourceMap files

 

It will not generated by default using angular cli 

 

What is use of those file ? 

 

Main use of them is to uglyfy js and css file in production environment

 

When we use command ng build --prod, it wil generate dist folder, and using dist folder our project automatically uglyfy for production

 

Solution : 

 

Still if you want to create .js and .js.map file than use below command 

 

 

 

As you can see that all minified js and css files are created
