You can use LEADTOOLS to convert your PDF files to image files. As it supports a wide-set of image file format.
The code is very simple and similar to this:

RasterCodecs _codecs = new RasterCodecs();
RasterImage _img = _codecs.Load(@"C:\temp\leadtools.PDF");
_codecs.Save(_img, @"C:\temp\leadtools.PNG", RasterImageFormat.Png, 24);
