Convert word template to Pdf using ITextSharp

I have to generate a PDF document from a word template using ITextSharp. Please help me how to do that.

As far i know ITextSharp is used to generate PDF from Html template.

Using LEADTOOLS you can convert Word template file (.dotx) to PDF with few lines of code similar to this:
using (DocumentConverter documentConverter = new DocumentConverter())
{
var jobData = DocumentConverterJobs.CreateJobData(@"C:\WordTemplate.dotx", @"C:\WordTemplate.pdf", DocumentFormat.Pdf);
jobData.JobName = "conversion job";
var job = documentConverter.Jobs.CreateJob(jobData);
documentConverter.Jobs.RunJob(job);

if (job.Status == DocumentConverterJobStatus.Success)
{
Console.WriteLine("Success");
}
else
{
Console.WriteLine("{0} Errors", job.Status);
foreach (var error in job.Errors)
{
Console.WriteLine(" {0} at {1}: {2}", error.Operation, error.InputDocumentPageNumber, error.Error.Message);

ITextSharp couldn't parse word document. You need to use word interop dll (require MS Word) or 3rd party library instead.

Use free spire.doc library you can simply convert word to pdf without Word:
//Load Document
Document document = new Document();
document.LoadFromFile(@"E:\work\documents\TestSample.docx");

//Convert Word to PDF
document.SaveToFile("toPDF.PDF", FileFormat.PDF);
