Convert Date time to YYYY-MM_DD in Angular

I want to convert current data into 'yyyy-MM-dd' format in .ts file. i template it can easily be done by using data pipe. how to do that in typescript.

Try moment js which is date time library. you can convert to any format with out any effort

You can use the formatDate function from @angular/common

import { formatDate } from '@angular/common';
@Component({ ...})
export class MyComponent {
today = new Date();
formattedDate;
constructor() {
this.formattedDate = formatDate(this.today, 'yyyy-MM-dd', 'en-US');
}
}
