Connect Website to Database in Windows Azure

SQL Azure means SQL Server in Azure it's nothing much than that. You can connect the database the same way you do while developing. You can define connection strings and access it in your code.

If you are using SQL Azure database , then its same like how we connect normal asp.net web app to SQL server database. You will have database connection string  , Using that with the help of ADO.Net or Entityframework you can connect with DB.

 

If you are using azure storage as your database then you need to add their namespace refrences in your application then you can connect with the help of below link.
