Checkbox to run application on windows startup

OK , I found the reference to access Assembly, it's System.Reflection,

I wrote an application that makes some tests on DB and sends emails, the app. itself has a GUI from which you can start/stop the service. So I think this is a normal windows application and not a Windows Service. I also have a problem accessing Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly().GetName().Name, I have an error that Assembly not found, what is the reference to add? and please one more question is there a way to make installation setup for the application? Thanks a lot

A windows service has not directly somthing to do with .net. A windows service is an executable which runs under a special behaviour. Windows has it's own os services, for example printer spooler, ftp server or what ever. Anyway, those windows services are started by windows (if you wannt even before you're logged on). Usually they don't have a GUI. Simon
