Chat

Hi! what i did is this: i have a web site, and a Chat.aspx in it. I opened another class, regular, inheriting from SoapReceiver, which acts as a listener (WSE 2.0). Then i bulit a chat web service. The messages get sent to the chat service, and then the chat service sends the message to all the subscribers (which are identified by their ReplyTo value, submitted at registration). The message arrives at the listener, but then i dont know how to refresh the Chat.aspx in order to show the new message (If i refresh manually, the message appears of course). Thing is - how to refresh a page from code (from an external class)? Thanks, Uz

Hi there Did you make a chat like MSN (between two persons)? iy yes i am interseted to know how and what you did and what for you want it. Regarding the refresh the new text in the page, you can use auto post back but if you tell me how did you design the page and how do you want the text to appear so we can enforce the events to be fired.

OK I figured it out only thing i cant do is refresh the page to show the new data How do i make a page refresh itself? Thanks Uz
