Career move as .net web forms developer.

I am currently working on asp.net webjavascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$imageButtonAskQuestion','') forms I have 1.4 year experience and i want know market for .net developer.

There is literally no down fall in learning MVC on your own, this will definitely improve your perception of viewing the problems or tasks and their solutions.
Also who knows what the future may bring you, maybe eventually you'll end up working with MVC or SPA applications. Honestly I see quite a few organisations moving away from Web Forms so I wouldn't be surprised if your company does the same.
Nevertheless the thing about MVC applications is that generally they require more knowledge of HTML and JS then the Web Forms because the MVC is stateless (just like the HTTP protocol is) while the Web Forms are stateful (it has an implemented mechanism for managing states, ViewState):

This is especially true with SPA applications which are usually (if not all the time) build together with some JS framework like angular, backbone, ember, etc.
Putting a side for a moment other things that you'll learn with these technologies, just the knowledge enchantment of these web fundamentals is an enough reason to do it.
At least that is how I see it.
Also as an FYI, if you decide to learn these technologies in you free I would suggest you to take a look at these online coding tests on TestDome. They are useful for practising how to solve some common, real life, programming problems. For example take a look at these HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding tests.

Yes NilKamal it will only help you just look foreword on ASP.NET MVC that will add more advantages.

Do not worry about how the market value for .net developers. The only thing you (as being a beginner ) or we consider how strong we are in our professional filed is only matters. India has a wide network on .net products so do focus on learning as much as you can.

Market for .net developer is Very Good. Try working on Asp.net MVC, WCF etc these technologies have good demand in market. Also learn some basic concepts of client side scripting e.g. Javascript, JQuey etc. Good Luck :)
