I am asp.net mvc web developer with 2 yrs exp. What more skills do I need to possess going further

Well, you definitely need to know about databases. You need to know SQL. You need to be able to make a basic stored procedure. It shouldn't take much to master. Angular, React, Node, etc, are here for a few years and then they'll be gone. Knowing your way around a database is forever. Beyond that, experience is what counts. Maybe publish a few articles that you can put on your resume too. Practice your interviewing skills.

I would suggest WebAPI, Client side technologies like Angular2/4 , React.Js.

Front end Mvc,Angular
Middle end webapi,
Back end EntityFramwork,Sql Server,

So you can go for MVC and Angular js both once you get good knowledge then ur future is bright as .net developer

In addition to what Mahesh Chand suggested, you should also start lookig into best coding practices, design principles and new concepts like DevOps.

You should learn WebApi, basic SQL and if it is possible then go for scriptiong language like Angularjs, NodeJs as well

Hi Gaurav,

I would say, JavaScript (JavaScript Frameworks like Angular Js, React Js, Node Js etc), Basic knoweldge of Database.

You should add Web API to your skill set. If you want to get ready for the future, start learning ASP.NET Core.

It all depends on what you are planning in the coming years.
For job purpose, having good knowledge in Entity framework and JQuery/Javascript along with ASP .NET MVC will be a plus point for you.
AngularJS is also trending these days and it is being collaborated with MVC as well. So, learning that would be good for you.
