Cannot configure WampServer

Hi,

Followed instruction on the below link & did most of the work successfully.

I opted for Dreamweaver rather than Notepad - Is this a mistake?

Though I changed the Port from 80 to 81 it does not get saved - Is this because I use Dreamweaver rather than Notepad?

After refreshing & opening LocalHost my folder consisting of the website shows on 'Your Projects' BUT does not open. Gets an error report - ''this site cannot be changed''

Pls help me

I suggest you to go with xampp server its easy to install and I guess you wont have problem in it.

It is not mistake that you are using Dreamweaver rather than Notepad. You have to change the Port number in httpd.conf file in WampServer. And then restart the wampserver and type localhost: in browser. it wil be shown homepage of WampServer.
