I am using asp.net with ADO.net

I have try to pass the CategoryID to the create controller in this form

Create (int ID)

ProductModel mProductModel = new ProductModel

{

ProductCategoryID = ID

}

return View

when I make step by step debug I see that when the controller action method is called the ID is pass normally

then the view is call but just before the view is rendered it goes back to the controller and now the ID is 0, I can't figure out why?

Are you using any framework? if yes please provide some details.

If not then set and get the data in local storage.

localStorage.setItem("CategoryID", 1);

localStorage.getItem("CategoryID");
