C# saving into txt file

Please help me. How can I .... 1) Transfer the values of the listbox from the user interface to a text file 2) How can I Save that Text file into a specific location (The text of the listbox contains the log of the operations and is update during the elaboration) i want to save the text at the end of the elaboration. thanks in advance

Use the System.IO.File object to create the file. The easiest way to get the values from the listbox is to copy the values to an array and string.join them to a csv string. Nowadays, I store all data as xml, which may be a bit more complicated, but it pays off. Hi, well, never used this, but got some idea.. firstly, you cud get all text from ur listbox within a string and save it in a file...for this u need to create the file and open it in read/write mode... then scroll to the end of the file and append ur string... secondly, u say its log info of the operations... for this u cud directly save the logging info into the file instead of the listbox... irfan
