c# and matlab?

hi all is there a way to connect a c# program with matlab function i want to make an image processing program that is able of detecting object by matlab and connect it to c# program also......is c# efficient in image processing (object detecting and recognition) thanks for help

If your doing lots of work with manipulating images, C# (or rather the .NET Framework it's tied to) has the interfaces that allow you to do it with relative ease in the System.Drawing namespace, but there aren't any guarantees as far as speed is concerned.

These features can be done in C#. It's just the code that makes the difference.
