Bootstrap modal popup issue

Hello, I am using botstrap modal on button. but when i click button , the popup does not opn , insteat it # appears in url (for ex : locahost://projectname/edit.aspx#)

Same code works on production environment, but gives above issu on local.

My porojc is asp.nt projevt

It looks like your local development environment has issues

The issue might be related to how your local development server handles the files.

Try the steps below to troubleshoot:
1. Clear browser cache and cookies
2. Check if all CSS/JS files are loading properly (F12 Developer Tools > Network tab)(if you are using CDN, then check your internet is working)
3. Ensure proper file paths in your local environment
