I have a Small Dought In Sql Server

1.How To Backup Data from Sql Server 2008 With Data .

Please Provide the Solution.....

I think you will have to run an sql script for taking a backup of your database...

i have another doubht..

some times i observered in on line sql server in object Explorer

(I connected Online Db with valid Credentials)

the database names are not Exisited but when I typed any Query Reagrding that database they show result

at that time with out showing database name in object explorer,
how can we back up that database

Please Provide Me Solution.

Hello Vinay, you will have to first right Click on the Database in the Object Explorer and in the Tasks tab, select the "Backup" Option. So once you select "Backup" a new Window will open. So in the New Window, just check what is the Backup type... By default it will be "full". In the below section, you can select the destination, where you want to store the Backup file. Once you select that, you can click on OK Button and the Backup file will be stored with a .bak extension at you r desired location.
