Azure database connection issue

Why I'm getting the below error while trying to login to Azure database ?

A connection to the server 'serverName.database.windows.net' could not be established. This might indicate an issue with your local firewall configuration or your network proxy settings.

I have set the IP address range from 0..0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255. But I couldnt connect.

You need to whitelist your ip and add it into DB firewall rule in Azure portal.

You would need to add your machine ip to azure firewall.this can be easily done by passing your ip address to system store procedure.

add new rule in your firewall to allow 1433 port.

This issue seems inconsistent. Sometimes I can connect the server. Sometimes throwing this error. :(
