Avoiding Page Post back when Inserting a data in a table C#

Hello

I need help how to avoid post back when the code execute the insert statement. I don't want the page to refresh when I insert the data The insert statement works. My codes is attached

I think insert sould be successful..

check here what you are getting from controller
success: function(msg) {
   JSON.stringify(msg,null,5);
}
And see what is pasing and whats happening after save...

Hi Dharmraj,

Please find attached the capture screen of the error I am getting. I checked post method is calling insertData.aspx/AddConsent because I am getting the message box

Any help please

One mistake is here...

url: '/insertData.aspx/AddConsent',

start with / means root of the directory then pagename.aspx...

Try it and still nothing happening then go to inspect element > network and see weather post method calling or not and if calling then any error occuring or not?

Hi Dharmraj,

Thanks for you reply . I tried you code but the data is not inserting in the table. I am getting an empty message box with no value. I think I am not too far but I am missing something. I attached the 2 pages I am usinging

Just make use of json in your code and use simple button instead of submit button...
