Auto ID generated jumping Values 1000 .. please Urgent

Hi. I am Create Auti Ganerated ID with primary key.

so, the problem is, first 535 number is order. but, after that 10525 continue. and again 10679 after starts 20580.

this is hosting website. and local sqlserver also same error . so, please how to order numbers without delete data.

so, please tll me query to solution that error.

please urgent.

Just fire below query and you will reset to next last identity value...

dbcc checkident ('tablename') -- to check next value

DBCC CHECKIDENT ('tablename' , reseed, 0); --to reset indentity value

After run this query insert new row it will continue from next of last ID.

SELECT IDENT_SEED('Animation') AS Identity_Seed;

Hi rupesh,

Kindly check your constrain last seed value. To check last seed value please use below query

IDENT_CURRENT( 'table_name' )

SELECT SCOPE_IDENTITY();
