Auto calculation in Datatable

Hello all I am new to datatable, I am creating a billing application in windows form, I had bind my datatable with gridview, i want that amount should be calculated automatically? with my formula. Thanks Devendra

Hey

You can use Expression property in your datatable column

dt.Columns.Add("Total", typeof(double).Expression = "Qty * Price";

Where Qty and Price are datatable's column

if you are using stored procedure for getting records from database to datatable. then use formula in stored procedure to get calcualted value.

it is easier to mantinance in database side and gives better ferformance of an application.
