asyncronous mail send in vs2010 c# with delivery status

hi,

I am sending bulk emails using smtp.sendasync method. Some times it shows mail status as success but the emails are not received at destination. how to get status of undelivered mails with asyncronous method. Please suggest.

Sending mail through async is a pattern of send and forgot approach. Well I had also used async to send mail but checked only on Failure

Hi Amit

you can use
message.DeliveryNotificationOptions = System.Net.Mail.DeliveryNotificationOptions.OnSuccess;
in sync method
but here we use asyncronous method for sending mail

If you are not getting any error while your mail is being sent then just check out in spam folder of the recipient.

If you're using System.Net.Mail try out
```
message.DeliveryNotificationOptions = System.Net.Mail.DeliveryNotificationOptions.OnSuccess;
```
