ASP.net core web API debugging issue in already exist project

I am struggling with Asp.net core web API IIS debugging in localhost with Postman. when I try to run it with local IIS and send a request through the postman it keeps on sending the request, I don't see any response. I have tried a lot many things to make it working but still the same thing....

I have made one new asp.net Core web API and this is working fine. but the one on which I am having an issue is my project solution I am not sure what's going on there.

I am using windows 10 and VS 2019.

Please help me out

I would suggest to implement swagger.

Then you can browse in server itself from iis with swagger url o verify.

"I am not calling the wrong address." - But how do you know this? Is the address you're calling specified somewhere in launchsettings.json? I would be grateful to know more details on how do you figure out which address to call?
"we have enabled basic Authentication " - does it work with authentication disabled? Maybe it's somehow misconfigured?
Did you check whether your project fails with some unhandled exceptions and thus becomes unavailable?

I have tried with your suggestion but it did not work out.
please let me know if you have more suggestion on this.
We tried Swagger also but it didn't work.

Thanks for your response.

I am not calling the wrong address. Through the browser also it is not responding anything.. we have enabled basic Authentication (to authenticate the user). It does not seems that it is Postman issue. we struggling with this issue. It has been 3 weeks passed with the same issue, my team members also tried to resolve this they have tried everything but.... no use.

Please help me out on this.

Is your project inaccessible only via postman or via browser too? I'm asking to figure out whether it's specific postman issue or request issue (i.e. you're calling wrong address)

You may try below option,

1. Clear ASP.Net Cache from C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\

2. Restrart your IIS

3. Check if your all dll loading correctly or not, if you put debugger in code is that showing complete red symbol or it showing some yellow mark, if it showing yellow mark hove your mouse on debugger point it will show you the error.

In my recommendation for API call use Swagger in the code is good choice.
