ASP.NET control does not exist in current context

i am getting the error ddlCountry does not exists in current context though control is already present on the page

Hi Hiten Sir,

I got the issue actually in my code have two aspx file with different name but both page refer to same aspx.cs page, after deleted one aspx file ist working fine.

Hi Bobindra,

Have you check that is there any design code of dropdown in your design file PageName.aspx.designer.cs ?

It will has below kind of code,
protected global::System.Web.UI.WebControls.DropDownList ddl;
If not then try to place the dropdown and check is there any code generate or not ?
Or you can try from below,
cut / paste ( that normally works if it's only a single control that didn't get added to designer.cs )
right-click refresh in the design view
deleting the designer.cs file and modifying the ascx / aspx
