ASP Calendar Control

I need help here with the asp calendar control, I want to restrict the selection of Holidays, Weekends, Monday, and Friday so I have coded for the restriction of weekends and other months with the help of built-in events I want to now restrict holidays I have a method containing a list of holidays and a bool Method to check if the day is a holiday or not

Again it is as simple as
step 1. Add one item template to your Grid
"GridView1" runat="server" AutoGenerateColumns="false" OnRowCommand="GridView1_RowCommand">

      // other bound controls for columns



                "Select" runat="server" CommandName="Select" CommandArgument="<%# Container.DataItemIndex %>" />




step 2. get any cell value of selected row as
protected void GridView1_RowCommand(object sender, GridViewCommandEventArgs e)
{
    if (e.CommandName == "Select")
    {
        //Determine the RowIndex of the Row whose LinkButton was clicked.
        int rowIndex = Convert.ToInt32(e.CommandArgument);

        //Reference the GridView Row.
        GridViewRow row = GridView1.Rows[rowIndex];

        //Fetch value of cell as.

        string cell1= row.Cells[1].Text;

      // do anything with these values.

I hope I'm not being too much of a problem it's just that I am creating this project as practical learning in asp.net,

I'm creating a Task Tracker Web App for Employees to select their work from home dates on the calendar by
clicking and can select as many as up to 5 days then the dates are stored in the Database so now I want to enable the onClick event in the Gridview on my HomePage with the Users displayed so that when I click on any user his/her Work from Home dates are being displayed in the ListBox on the other side,

also, display labels on the calendar I need help with the click event on the Gridview I have tried the OnCommand event for the grid view to get the selected index but also I want to use the EmpID as my point to the WorkFromHome Table in SQL Server

it is as simple as
protected void YourCalenderId_DayRender(object sender, DayRenderEventArgs e)

    {
      var holidays=getPublicHolidayList();
        if (holidays.Contains(e.Day.Date))

        {

            e.Day.IsSelectable = false;

        }

    }
Note:- Asp.NET Calender control exposes the DayRender event, that i have used.
