There are a few things you need to do, and a few questions you need to answer. 1) How many times will this happen (aaa being added)? Is there a limit? Is it a fixed number or unknown? 2) You have to allocate an array before you can add values to its elements. It must be a fixed size. If you don't know how big the array must be, you can make it small and then make it bigger later by using dynamic arrays. It will still be a specific size, though. Create an array with 50 string elements like this: string[] myarray = new string[50]; 3) Keep track of the LAST array element that you added the 'aaa' to. This will help you determine where to put it the NEXT time the timer fires. Each time you add it, you must check to make sure that the array is big enough for the new item. 4) To add an item to an array, you must know which element you are assigning it to. If the element is variable j, you do this: myarray[j] = "aaa";
