Application installed or not

I am not sure about uwp apps but allmost the below code may used to detect whether it is installed or not. I am giving an overviewof the code

System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("appname");

You can run the above code, if it doesn't exists then an exception will be thrown.

Do ket me know, if it works
