Anonymous Object in C#

You misunderstood the term Anonymous object. Anonymous object means an object of unknown class, you can not call a method of a specific class with an anonymous object.

for example in linq we can project the properties of a class to an anonymous object like

var res= EmployeeList.Select(x=>new {
x.Name,
x.gender
})

In the above example the type of result variable that is 'res' will be anonymous because we projected the properties of Employee class to an anonymous object (new {} i.e new operator without class name) .
