Angular JS Versions Supported for Visual studio

Its Good that you have knowledge of Both Angular Js and Angular 2 As you already know about these ,these both are different and Visual studio Support Both these .You can use anyone according your requiement in your application  One more thing Angular 2 or higher version is Just angular not Angular Js If you have learn Angular 2 then you can move from 2 to 4,6, and Now Angular 7 also in market.

 

So according to your requirement you can use in your Application,Both are Supported by Visual studio You can use vs 2015 or 2017

But In case angular 1 you need not to add cli for development only js source have to add

 

Above 1 you have to add cli in your project
