Advice for my career
Hi Expert, i am having around 10 years of experience and now i am working as Project Lead in CMM Level 5 company. I grown my career in developing asp,php,.net and still working on the same (VS 2010). I am not interesting in estimation, project planning and other PM works. I would like to solve the technical problems and want to continue on the same ladder. Please advice which route should i follow, go to PM ladder or an architect ladder. Thanks in advance, Kumar

If you are in management side then less option available in market and you have to stick with company for long time because company are always looking stability in management position.
but if you are in technical side and your skill are boom in market. For example , if you are working in Big data , cloud computing tech. etc. then you will get better pay compare to other position.
Techie person set anywhere in market. Just we need to update with market and technology.
I can't say anything on better career. It is dependent on many factors like your skills, market situation, your interest bla bla... :-)

You are having 10 years of experience. I think, you are enough mature about your career. As you mentioned, your more interest on technical side. It seems that, you are techie person.
You can choose architect ladder but my advice is that we have to know both side because many companies are looking versatile role.
Many small companies doesn't have special position of architect. Hence, they are looking techno-manager person.
Keep update with technical as well management side.
