Activate textbox of form1 from form2

Hello, can you please do me a favor and tell me exactly what I am doing wrong. Here is my code:

I would like not simply activate the textbox, but transfer a value to the textbox of form1.

There are many more things to achieve this. Try this
// In form1, declare a variable like
public bool needsFocus;

//create a form activated event
private void form_activated (##)
{
if (needsFocus)
{
txtbox1.Focus ();
needsFocus =false;
}
}

//In Form2
Form1 frm; // taking reference of form1 while calling form2
public void focusForm1 ()
{
frm.needsFocus =true;
frm.Activate ();
}

I have done it like you described.
Doesn't happen anything.
I think its not possible to pass any data between the forms. So its not possible to pass a command (for example to activate a control form form 2 towards form 1.) No commands can be transferred, if you understand what I mean.

Just you need to activate the form first, like

Form1 frm; // taking reference of form1 while calling form2
public void focusForm1 ()
{
frm.Activate ();
frm.txtBox1.Focus (); access modifier must be set to public in its properties
}
