Accessing VSS Programatically using c#

Hi,
I would like to clarify few things!! Is there any possibility to Access files from VSS Programatically!!! if so plz share me the coding or help me out!!! my new innovation is to access files from VSS and do some automated testing periodically!!
Which would be a better choice? --Web or windows?
This is Really Urgent!! before am tryin i would like to get idea from c# experts whether is this possible!!!! then i can do it without any doubts

Thanks for the response !!! Even though i have two years of exp in c#.net !! am unaware of accessing files from vss!!
No VSS is installed in my system!! using dot net framework 2.0..in all google links they have used VSSDatabaseClass.I dono how to add reference for SourceSafetypelib dll and use VSSDatabaseClass..can someone help me out in this!!!
