About moniter class in multithreading concept.

Moniter class is basically used for Synchronization purpose.Only one thread can access critical region(block of code accessing by one thread) at a time. Moniter and lock you can  use for synchronization. Using Monitor.Enter and Monitor.Exit

A simple c# program will always be single threaded but there are scenarios which involve complex logic implementation and will require the program to run in parallel . In this scenario if both thread tries to access a single resource it can cause resource contention and even deadlocks . Say you are watching a movie file using media player and at the same time trying to delete the same resource file . You have two programs trying to access the same media file resource and it will give you the error that the file is locked by media player and it cannot be deleted . The same concept applies to Monitor and locks .

 

C# is not always single threaded . In c# Programming you can check this link where they have explained clearly how 2 threads are executing in parallel and how the output will be mixed from both threads :

if we not mention the monter and lock in our program also only one thread can perform the task at a time.

it is not posiible that 2 threads execute code at the same time.then whatis the use of moniter class.
