Exercise a little courtesy. Offer a solution if you can, but keep negative comments to yourself and keep this forum friendly. It does nobody any good for someone to insult others who are trying to contribute. As a point of fact, I was NOT working in .NET that day. I was working in Pascal most of the day. Hence, the Readln.

I am Really Surprised with the Above Answers. These people are Really working on .NET or just reading & typing the Messages. The Correct Solution is , If you are the C/C++ coder you are aware of the getch(). Like here you can stop your output by following codes, Console.ReadLine(); // Press Enter to Close the Current Window. or Console.Read(); // Press Any key to Close the Current Window.

Simple, two solutions: 1- Instead of clicking on the start triangle or on Debug/Start, click on Debug/Start Without Debugging (Ctrl-F5). 2- Add the following as the last line of your program. It will wait for the user to press Enter before ending the program and closing the console screen: Console.Readline();

Are you running your program from Visual Studio? Try running the program from the command prompt. In Win98 (if you're using it), you can set the command window to stay open after the program terminates. Otherwise, just put a Console.Readln() in your program to make it pause until you press ENTER.
