A problem with ListView Control

Sure you can place an image/icon on any control derived from the Control class. Search C# Corner for owner draw controls. To draw any thing on a Form (image, text, icon), you need a Graphics object for that Form. By default, it is available thorugh the paint event of the Form. You can also create a Graphics object for a Form using CreateGraphics method. Similarily, you can create a Graphics object for a control using CreateGraphics method as well. This Graphics control works as a container (think it as another child form) and you can use this container to draw whatever you want to draw on it. After getting Graphics object, you call its Fill and Draw methods. For example, if you want to draw an image on a TextBox, you do something like this: Graphics g = TextBox.CreateGraphics(); g.DrawImage("Image", location);

What can I do to have such control with such abilities? (I'm novice, sorry for dummy questions :)

But then icons still cannot be placed on every point of control, but only on some grid, am I right?

Not possible unless you write code to reload the icons with different indexes on mouse drag-drop.
