Please bring your own machines with you to follow along with this procedure. Anyone willing to follow along the demo needs to have Flutter development environment installed on their machines. Follow the steps to have it configured, due to short time of the event, it is recommended to setup the machine beforehand.
- Download and install Visual Studio Code IDE, at https://code.visualstudio.com.
- Download the Flutter SDK from Flutter website, at https://flutter.dev/docs/get-started/install/windows. Remember to follow the steps as mentioned.
- Verify that your Flutter is available, try to execute “flutter doctor” command in your Windows Console or PowerShell.
- Download and install Android SDK, from https://developer.android.com/studio, you can skip this step if you already have Android Studio installed and working.
- Create Android Emulator (steps provided on the Flutter setup website).
- Install Flutter extension for Visual Studio Code, from https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=Dart-Code.flutter.
