Publishing Web Sites in IIS server
There are two segments for publishing web sites.
There are two segments for publishing web sites.
- Installing IIS.
- Publishing site in IIS.
Install IIS
- Go to Windows button.
- Click Control Panel.
- Click programs and features
- Click Windows feature on or off.
- Check Internet Information Service and Internet information Service hostable Web Core.
- Click OK button and wait.
Your IIS will be installed successfully.
Publish site
Publish site
- Build your site.
- Publish your site in a folder.
- Go to Windows button, write 'inetmgr' and enter.
- Right click on the sites, add your published folder location and give a name for your site.
- Click OK and browse your site successfully.

Steps for Publishing website using IIS is different depends upon server iis version. E.g. Windows 2003 server has different methods of publishing website using iis than windows 2008 server . Another thing is Some windows edition also not showing inetmgr even after installation of iis using your above mentioned methods I.e. Windows Home Basic .
