When your 90 days trail period expired for VS 2008, it gives you an option to upgrade it and goes to MSDN page. On that page, its about Visual Studio and has nothing to do with Upgrade.
I would think Microsoft should put an automatic upgrade by just providing the product key.
Annoying ... annoying .. annoying ..
Anybody had same problem? How did you solve it? One way to do is, Uninstall evaluation version and reinstall it.

Go to Control Panel > Add Remove Programs > Visual Studio 2008 Click Change/Remove button this will start visual Studio Installation Wizard Click next It will show you the screen with following 4 options In Upgrade option insert the product key and press Upgrade button and you are done.

At least I was able to remove the trial version.

Yes, it’s annoying for me too... I have the Product Key with me... but neither It letting me uninstall my Trial Product nor giving me any option to put in the Product Key... What should i do now...<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
