  Most blockchains support JSON/API format. That means, you can call Blockchain APIs in almost any programming language. For coding like smart contracts, each blockchain supports different coding language. For example, if you want to write smart contract on Ethereum, Solidity is a way to go. If you want to write smart contract in Stratis, it must be C#. Some chains support multiple languages. You just first need to figure out which chain serves your purpose and what they support.

I learned C++ in class 12th ISC board. I did not knew the importance of C++ that time. But C++ has grown so much in the past 15 years and is every where. You can make 3D games in Unreal Engine which is in C++, you can work on blockchain, C++ is in dot net to. I miss C++, so if you are a beginner then I would say that you should make a career on C++.

  It all depends. In reality, there is more code written using C++ and Java than any other language. While C++ may be one of the most popular languages based on the software written in it, the companies looking to hire developers are more Web and mobile platforms recently. There are probably more Angular and React jobs compare to C++. You've to see where you live and what kind of jobs are there. C++ is more for engineers but there are more jobs for Web developers and Mobile developers.
